Liberia's President Launches Major Finance and Trade Project in Partnership with World Bank
Liberia's President, George Manneh Weah, has launched a $40m finance and trade project in partnership with the World Bank. The project aims to improve the investment climate, increase efficiency of trade, and address gaps between men and women's participation in economic activities. The LIFT-P Project will also support the National Single Window and the provision of a National Electronic Payment Switch. The President stressed the project's commitment to creating an enabling environment for investment, trade, and commerce while thanking the World Bank for its support.
