(July 6, 2020 – Monrovia, Liberia):The President of the Republic, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah has expressed deep sadness over news of the death of John Narrold Sunday, Assistant Minister and Special Assistant to the Minister of Youth and Sports, D. Zoegar Wilson.

Sunday is reported to have died on Monday of Coronavirus complications at the 14 Military hospital. The President conveys his condolences and laments that John Sunday's death is not only an enormous loss to his family and colleagues at the Ministry of Youths and Sports, but to all Liberians.

The Liberian Leader noted with consternation the toll that Covid 19 continues to take on the country and its people, while expressing his sympathies to all who have lost loved ones or continue to reel from the effects of the disease.

He once again urges the general public to adhere to the health protocols in order to keep their families safe.
