President Weah Commissions Diplomatic Officials, Urging them to serve with Commitment and Integrity

 
Monrovia, Liberia: The President of Liberia, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah on Friday, August 9, 2019 commissioned several officials whom he appointed to serve their country and people in various capacities.
 
In brief remarks at the commissioning ceremonies, President Weah challenged the commissioned officials to justify the confidence reposed in them by serving with integrity, commitment and diligence.
 
The Liberian Leader asserted it is always an honor when one is called to serve his or her  country and people. He thus encouraged them to serve well.
 
The commissioned officials included Henry Fahnbulleh, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Mawine Diggs, Deputy Minister for Administration (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Deweh E. Gray, Deputy Minister for Legal Affairs (Ministry of Foreign of Affairs), and Abraham Korvah, Deputy Minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
 
Others were Hon. Jervis Witherspoon, Chief of Protocol of Liberia, Amb. Finda Nora Bundoo, Chief of Protocol, Executive Mansion (Republic of Liberia) and Ambassador Blamo Nelson, Liberia's Ambassador to Japan.
 
Making remarks on behalf of the commissioned officials, Deputy Foreign Minister, Hon. Henry Fahnbulleh thanked President Weah for their preferment.
 
He assured the President of their commitment to justify the confidence he has reposed in them and to ensure that the government's development agenda is realized.
