President Weah Takes County Tour to District #2, Calling on Constituents to be peaceful and law-abiding

Monrovia, Liberia - The President of Liberia, Dr. George Manneh Weah, has urged citizens and residents of District 2 to help keep and maintain the peace of Liberia being enjoyed since the end of the civil conflict. 
 
 
He said on Wednesday, August 18 in the district, that peace is the cornerstone for sustainable development. 
 
 
The President, in continuation of his tour of Montserrado County, said every proposal for development project for District #2 as requested would be addressed but that the citizens should also work towards the maintenance of peace in the country
 
 
"This is your government. Trust me as I trust you. Together, we will develop your district and the country,” President Weah said. 
 
 
Responding to the residents’ many requests, the President said they should consider done their proposals, including building a park, a market and the Jacob Town Public School in the district. 
 
 
He commended residents of the district for reposing their confidence in him and promised not to let them down.
 
 
He outlined his many achievements something he attributed to the support of the citizenry.
