Monrovia, Liberia - The President of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has withdrawn the nomination of Dr. Michael Slewion.

On June 14, 2021, Dr. Slewion was nominated by the Liberian Leader as Director-General of the National Commission on Higher Education.

The Liberian Chief Executive will nominate a new head of the entity subsequently.
