President Weah Takes County Tour to River Cess Saturday

(Buchanan, Grand Bassa County):  The President of the Republic, H.E. Dr George Manneh Weah, and his entourage will on Saturday, April 24, 2021, move to River Cess County as part of his 3rd leg nationwide tour.

 

President Weah will end his visit to Grand Bassa County where he has dedicated and broken grounds for milestone projects including bridges, hospital, clinics, youth centers, and commissioner’s compounds as well as having fruitful interactions with the great people of hospitality. His final stop of the day in the county will be in outlying Districts 4 & 5, including LAC Plantation community.

 

On entering River Cess County at Timbo Bridge, which divides Grand Bassa and that county, the Liberian Chief Executive will begin work immediately by inspecting construction works on a 100-bed hospital in Gbadiah Town. The Hospital is being funded by one of Liberia’s partners, the Government of Germany.

 

In Yarpah Town, President Weah will also dedicate a Junior High School constructed by the Community Forest Management Committee. Still in Yarpah Town, Dr. Weah will dedicate and tour Yarpah Town Youth Center funded by Rep. Byron Zanweah.

 

“Bad Road Medicine”, as president Weah is affectionately called, will end his visit to River Cess County following interaction with the people and unveiling milestone projects on April 26, 2021.
