President Weah Extends Heartfelt Greetings to Liberian Muslims on the Observance of Ramadan
Monrovia, Liberia: President George Manneh Weah has extended heartfelt greetings to all Muslim brothers and sisters across Liberia and the entire Islamic Community as they embark on the annual religious journey of Ramadan.
In a special statement, the Liberian leader said: “On the eve of your sacred encounter with Allah, I, as President of the Republic of Liberia, and on behalf of the Government of Liberia, would like to wish you a Blessed and successful Ramadan.”
President Weah said: As you observe this Holy month of Ramadan, it is my hope that Allah will answer your prayers, honor your sacrifices, and grant your heart desires.”
“I also pray that you will use this time of fasting and Praying to intercede for your leaders and beloved nation; so that God will guide us all as we work collectively for a better and prosperous Liberia”.
He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to religious tolerance and a peaceful co-existence between the Islamic Community and other religious groups across Liberia.
President Weah expressed confidence that Liberians will continue to live together in peace and harmony for the betterment of the society.
He however prayed that Allah will renew Muslims' strength and instill peace in their hearts, and bless the works of their hands during the Holy month of Ramadan.
