President Weah Commissions Associate Justice Kaba, Ambassador Kronyanh

Monrovia, Liberia - The President of the Republic, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has commissioned two senior government officials - Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Yussif D. Kaba and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Liberia to Italy, Andrew W. Kronyanh.

During a ceremony at the Cecil Dennis Conference Hall at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, May 2, President Weah said in a statement that his decision to appoint Cllr. Yussif D. Kaba to the Supreme Court and Ambassador Andrew W. Kronyanh was based on their experience and distinctive services to their nation and people.

He said Associate Justice Yussif D. Kaba has a vast experience as an outstanding judge in Liberia’s judiciary system while Ambassador Andrew W. Kronyanh has performed with diligence and distinction in the diplomatic world for years.

“The Liberian constitution gives only one criterion for a person to sit on the Supreme Court Bench: the nominee must be of good moral character,” President Weah said. “This characteristic was paramount in my decision to appoint the former Judge Yussif D. Kaba as Associate Justice to the Supreme Court of Liberia and Ambassador Andrew W. Kronyanh.”
