President Weah Cheers Up Thousands of Children With Gifts At Christmas Party

Monrovia, Liberia – Thousands of children from a cross-section of communities in Monrovia and its environs were guests of the President of the Republic, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah at a Christmas Party he hosted in their honor in commemoration of this Year’s Christmas festivities.

The kids swarmed President Weah’s residence on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021, and had light moments with the President who distributed a mix of valuable Christmas gifts to each child. They had meals in addition to toys and packages of outfits provided them by the President.

In a short special message of encouragement, President Weah told the kids that Christmas is a time of showing true love to people regardless of age and gender.

He urged the kids to always remain respectful and share love, which he said is the true essence of Christmas.

The Liberian Leader also reminded Liberian children to always remain peaceful, loving, and respectful in all their dealings.

The children sang enthralling Christmas carols and other songs, expressing joy and appreciation for the opportunity of meeting the country’s President, many for the first time, and the gifts provided them.
