Cameroonian prelate pays courtesy call on VP Haward-Taylor; offers special prayers for president Weah and VP Taylor

Monrovia, Liberia - Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor has received in audience  the overseer of Gospel of Christ Ministries based in the  Cameroon, Apostle  Dr. Shawn Smith.

 

Dr.  Smith is a duly ordained minister of Jesus Christ who was also elevated to the Episcopacy and affirmed to the Apostolate.

 

A release from the office of the Vice President said Apostle Smith was accompanied to the office of the Vice President by two official of the Liberia chapter of the Church.

 

The Liberian Vice President received Apostle Dr. Smith on Monday, May 7, 2018 when he paid a courtesy call on her at her Capitol Building office in Monrovia.

 

During the brief meeting, Apostle, Dr. Smith who is currently visiting Liberia congratulated Liberian President George Weah and Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor on their recent election to the Country’s highest leadership.

 

VP Howard-Taylor thanked Apostle Smith for the visit and asked for the church to continuously pray for the country and its leadership so that God can intercede in the many challenges facing the nation.

 

The release revealed that Apostle Dr. Smith who offered special prayers for President Weah and his Vice President, presented a special edition of his translated Holy Bible to Madam Howard-Taylor, asking God to help the two leaders to serve the purpose for which they were elected.

 

Dr. Smith’s exegetical and inspirational method of presentation of the New Testament has established him as a theological authority in the Gospel revealed to the Apostle Paul.
